Color The Court: The Adidas AE1 “Tie-Dye”

On April 12, 2025, we partnered with adidas Basketball and Anthony Edwards for “Color the Court,” an initiative rooted in our shared commitment to uplifting communities and creating spaces where the next generation can thrive.

Hosted in Atlanta—the city that shaped Edwards from a promising athlete into a global icon—the event celebrated not only his personal journey, but also his dedication to inspiring youth to dream boldly, create freely, and lead with purpose.

In collaboration with Utopian Academy of the Arts, a charter school network dedicated to nurturing academic excellence and creative exploration, the event marked the early release of the adidas Anthony Edwards Low 1 "Tie Dye".

Families came together for a day of interactive experiences: face painting, bounce houses, a gaming truck, live music, and local food vendors turned the school grounds into a full-on community celebration. At the center of it all stood a custom tie-dye mural court by Atlanta artist Fabian Williams, a vibrant symbol of pride and imagination, designed to serve students as a space for movement, growth, and connection.

In a city known for producing greatness, Color the Court captured the spirit of resilience, creativity, and collective progress. In partnership with adidas Basketball, the event brought Anthony Edwards’ journey full circle, honoring his past while building a future where the next generation can rise, thrive, and lead with intention.
