Recap: Women Within Charlotte Event

This past Saturday, we had the honor of hosting our very first Women Within event at our Charlotte location — orchestrated by Cristy Montoya of Factory of Spaces. The experience was targeted to women but did not limit men from coming as well. The focus of the event was to celebrate womanhood in our local community. Our special guest speaker, Corri Smith of Black Wednesday marketing agency, spoke on her experiences in establishing her business, the challenges she had to overcome as a woman, and her philosophies on how she accomplishes her goals. It's never an easy road for a woman, especially in certain male dominated industries. In addition to the panel, we also had a plant potting workshop session, giveaways and raffles. We'd like to thank everyone who came out and supported the cause, male and female. We'll be hosting more women-focused events in the future.
