Air Jordan 'CEO' 16 to be released in Charlotte Only

The Jordan 16 was once a less celebrated silhouette but over the years, it has become a fan favorite through energy from collaborations and other special projects. This time around, Jordan picked the 16 to tell a story for Charlotte, in specific, the Charlotte Hornets and the current CEO of the Hornets, Michael Jordan. This shoe comes at a time where Charlotte Hornets were just granted a Jordan sponsorship, meaning that they will be the only team in the NBA wearing Jordan sponsored jerseys instead of Nike. This was just put into effect for this forthcoming basketball season. It's a site to see a city and state with such a strong connection to Michael Jordan finally get a sneaker dedicated to its specific region and city.
