adidas x Daniel Arsham Coming Soon

Snarkitecture's Daniel Arsham has been known for his use of art and architecture for quite some time now. Last month, adidas and Arsham teased the sneaker with an art installation in New York. Now, they are unveiling the sneaker. Arsham chose adidas' New York silhouette to work with to create  a contemporary archival feel. His use of deteriorated detail and frayed edges showcase the feel he was trying to bring to the table with the sneaker. There are also hidden details within the design of the sneaker as well. When hit with a UV light, the midsole on the sneakers read "past" and "present." The inspiration behind the collaboration sums up Arsham's fascination with the concept of archeology and 20th century cultural artifacts. Expect this sneaker to release Saturday July 22nd here on our online shop as well as select Social Status locations.
