Hand to Hand: A Beginners Pottery Class
May 18
Are you ready to get your hands messy, tap into your creative side, and create something beautiful with your own two hands? Whether you're searching for a new hobby, looking for a fun way to de-stress, or simply curious about pottery, Hand to Hand: A Beginners Pottery Class is the perfect place to start!
This beginner-friendly hand-building pottery workshop is designed for anyone who has ever wanted to try pottery but didn't know where to begin. Unlike wheel throwing, hand-building is a relaxed, accessible technique that allows you to shape and sculpt clay using just your hands and simple tools—making it perfect for absolute beginners!
- No experience required – this is a relaxed, beginner-friendly space
- Perfect creative escape – unwind, de-stress, and enjoy the process
- Take home a pottery toolkit – keep creating even after the class!
- Craft something uniquely yours – a functional piece you can actually use
A fun experience to share – come solo, with a friend, or as a date night idea!
* All Materials Provided: Each participant will receive a pottery toolkit (yours to keep!) with essential tools such as a wooden rib, sponge, wire cutter, needle tool, and more. Air dry clay and acrylic paint will be provided. This clay does not need to be glazed and fired in a kiln. Please wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable and you don't mind getting a little messy.* Please be aware:
- Saturday, May 17th, 5p-8p is Pottery Creation
- Sunday, May 18th, 2p-5p is Paint & Pick-up
