Air Jordan 9 "Militia Green"

Posted on August 21 2015

The Air Jordan 9 "Militia Green" is inspired by the statue of Michael Jordan, known as The Spirit, that stands outside the United Center in Chicago. The special tag on the inside of the tongue makes it clear here. There it reads "November 1, 1994," which is the date that the statue was unveiled. The sneaker features a speckled military green color, which is meant to mimic the shade of MJ's Air Jordan 9 sneakers from the bronze icon.
