Nike Flyknit Roshe Run - 'Midnight Fog' & 'Fireberry'
Posted on September 26 2014
Nike's decision to meld Roshe and Flyknit is probably the best idea they've had this year, and after their overwhelmingly positive reception last release, we couldn't wait for the next go round. With another, even more highly anticipated duo of drops Nike manages to 1-up even themselves. The twosome take on a night and day (or maybe more like sunset) approach for a strikingly contrasting effect.
Falling just short of another triple black release, the 'Midnight Fog' color up replaces the Sequoias and goes even darker. With black and dark grey dominating the base and a rarely recurring black sole unit, this pair exudes a degree of understated elegance we've scarcely seen previous Roshe's achieve.
Jumping to the opposite side of the spectrum comes the striking and very appropriately named 'Fireberry'. Capitalizing on the unique and dynamic composition of the Flyknit build, this pair blends bold threads of magenta and orange beneath the distinct honeycomb facade that gives the shoe it's character.
With colorways like this, it's little wonder that these have been among the most highly anticipated Roshe's of the past 10 months. There's no chance that these will stick around long enough for you to deliberate. So go with your instincts and cop a set - or both - come Saturday.
