A Ma Maniére introduced “Dawn” the first of two A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan V colorways, with the first one to release on 11.17 11AM EST on amamaniere.com. “Dawn” the Grey/Blue pair that features women sizing along with Pre-School and Toddler ranges, has brought forward the current leaders in their respective spaces, but also their own next generation of icons.

Melissa Cantey, known as Melissa Chanel, moves with passion throughout the city of Charlotte, NC. She founded Kicks & Fros, who’s currently in the heart of Camp North End, and was created to value Black women in the sneaker space and honor the culture that is created by the ones that are more often than not, excluded from the conversation.

Aside from doing the work and showing up for her community in any form, Melissa places the most importance into her blended family, who is her unit, along with their dog Boomer. In her spare time, she enjoys the openness of traveling, exploring new places and bringing forward the best version of herself along.

BRYAN, CURATING SHARED MOMENTS

Bryan, a dedicated sneaker aficionado that started by highlighting his own personal interest and collection is now passing along his own passions to his next generation. Known for his detailed approaches to sneaker reviews, spared no detail when showcasing the A Ma Maniére x Jordan V, his daughter is now included in the experience. It’s a special moment when they get to wear not just matching footwear, but build collections that expand further than just shoes, it’s a moment to pass down significant information about why culture is important and how it can be supported.

Popularly known as @riblets1218, has a keen eye for design intricacies, all bringing the collaboration to life in vivid detail.
