Air Jordan VI Retro - “Sport Blue”

Posted on August 29 2014

Culminating Jordan Brand’s summer of sport blue, one of the most iconic Air Jordan 6 colorways of all time is ready to make its first-ever retro release. Saved in Jumpman archives since its 1991 debut, the Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” is one of the five OG colorways of the model. Virtually indistinguishable from their original form (apart from the Nike Air, and y'know - that whole yellowing thing) the kicks feature all the details we’ve come to love from MJ’s sixth signature: the extra-tall tongue, encapsulated Air unit in the heel, lace toggle and icy, icy soles. Constructed with a white leather upper, accented by the famous blue hue on the midsole, tongue, and heel tab. Twenty-three years is a long time to wait, and only the most OG of the OG's can ever claim to have rocked these in the streets. But you know those old heads who stay whining about how all the young kid rock J's with out ever actually seeing Mike in his prime? They hate you, and you hate them. So, if you really want to shut some yaps, make it a priority to cop a set this weekend. Even if you don't like blue, hell, even if you don't like VI's, cop a set just to say you did.

And flex. Hard.
